AdaptAT by Khoch3 KlimaKarten wins the Social Impact Award Austria 2025
Recognition for digitalizing municipal climate adaptation in Austria
With AdaptAT, Khoch3 KlimaKarten has won the Social Impact Award Austria 2025. The award was presented on September 26, 2025 at the award ceremony hosted by Microsoft Austria in Vienna, where AdaptAT won a Jury Award among around 60 submissions.
AdaptAT digitalizes municipal climate adaptation in Austria: an all-in-one tool for integrated heat, flood and heavy-rain preparedness. Alongside the prize money, winning teams received tickets to the international SIA Summit in Ljubljana. The jury included representatives of Erste Bank, Impact Hub Vienna, Caritas, Ashoka and WU Vienna.
The Social Impact Award is the largest social entrepreneurship competition in the German-speaking region and is run in Austria by Impact Hub Vienna. Participation included a summer programme with workshops and coaching on impact model, financing and building up first reference municipalities.
